Crystal clear skin you say? It sounds like finding the Fountain of Youth; however, I do have some tricks up my sleeve for achieving the kind of skin that will make even The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills swoon.
My first well kept secret to clear skin when I need it: Arnica.
What is Arnica? From WebMD:
Arnica is an herb that grows mainly in Siberia and central Europe, as well as temperate climates in North America. The flowers of the plant are used in medicine. Arnica is most commonly used for pain caused by osteoarthritis, sore throat, surgery, and other conditions. Arnica is also used for bleeding, bruising, swelling after surgery, and other conditions, but there is no good scientific evidence to support these uses. Arnica can also be unsafe when taken by mouth. https://www.webmd.com/vitamins/ai/ingredientmono-721/arnica
I first started taking Arnica when I had surgery last year. It was a very lengthy recovery. I was bruised under my eyes for at least 2 weeks and very swollen (I even had a hematoma in my eye which lasted almost 2 months). My doctor gave me Arnica to heal bruising more quickly, and I discovered my skin had this translucent look and feeling. After doing my own research, I discovered the benefits of Arnica, and that many people use it topically on their face after Botox. My doctor gave me Arnica tablets, which I then sought out on Amazon. Whenever I notice a dullness in my skin or anything inflammatory, I take 2 small tablets, twice a day, and let them dissolve under my tongue. To me, it reminds me of the effects that celery juice has had on my skin. There is a clarity that I’ve never seen in my skin before. Mind you, nothing is perfect! I still have fine lines, slight redness around my nose (I use laser for that), but I do my best to preserve my skin because now is the time. Taking into consideration I’m in the ranks of Tom Brady for age, I’m proud of the care I take in my skin and I am constantly working and discovering new tricks.
Please keep in mind, I have taken these tablets (not consistently, but at times that I need it) for clear skin. Moderation is key and I do not take these daily.
Disclaimer: I am not a Physician, Nurse, Esthetician or Nutritionist. I am just a real person has tried this with caution and care.
Now, if you do try it, there are side effects if you do not use this correctly or take too much. Please read them here:
These are the tablets I take from Amazon (periodically). Please remember to always read instructions, dosage precautions, pre-existing conditions, and how this may interact with other medications you are taking.
